MEETING POINTS

Throughout life as a social worker, a researcher and an artist stuff begins to merge. What I learn as a social worker influences my view of the world and how I want to relate to it. What I do in research, giving a lecture or performing workshops, develops a way of working with groups.

 

What I've come to realise is that I love to work together when creating. It is in meeting the other that I meet myself. More than that, it is through working together that we create meaning and that I feel part of something bigger.

'Meeting Point' involves all kinds of participatory projects where the result stems from a shared authorship. It shows some work in different fields, such as psychiatry, addiction and youth care. While other projects center around universal themes such as belonging. 'Meeting Points' is is where I feel home and where I'm at my best.
